Hope I don't creep you out TOO much

so I'm not exactly all that creative or artistic-a big mouth that I have, but really I just like to appreciate other people's talents seeing as I'm not as special. Enjoy my appreciation :)

It’s a myth that elephants are clever because they can paint. Please don’t think they are gifted or that it’s cute to watch this form of tourist ‘entertainment’. Here’s a few facts you need to know:

  1. Elephants endure months of physical abuse to learn how to hold a paint brush, draw a straight line and paint flowers and leaves on trees

  2. For years they then paint the same repetitive painting over and over again, every single day, sometimes twice or three times a day

  3. When training an elephant to paint, a sharp metal bull hook or nail is used to guide the paintbrush

  4. When the elephant paints incorrectly they are beaten as punishment, often the hook is rammed into the elephants ear or they are hit on their head or trunk

  5. Look for scars or beatings on the top of an elephants head or trunk from metal bull hooks used to train elephants for human ‘entertainment’

  6. Some claim these paintings go back to help with elephants care. Not so true, this is for tourism and to make money from these elephants that (unless one is hurt or mother was shot) should not be in captivity.
  7. Please don’t buy elephant paintings, think of the abuse the elephants have endured their entire lives before painting the perfect picture

  8. Please forward our website and tell friends NOT to buy elephant paintings

  • . (I added the picture of one being ‘made’ to paint…because I think some people need to see exactly what ‘painting elephants’  actually are) The first picture is of course how elephants should be in their natural surroundings. Please stop posting elephants painting and gifs because it is NOT cute it is abuse and get educated on animal rights…I do hope these countries that allow this are banned from doing this soon.

A soul mate isn’t necessarily the person you love most. It’s the person who sincerely challenges you in the aspects of life that everyone else can’t. Soul mates fight. But God damn they love, too.

You are still you whether you are 190 or 90 pounds. Your soul still lives in the same fucking house, no matter how you batter and abuse it. The sooner you accept this, the sooner you can go back to living.
